Santa Barbara Human Resources Association (SBHRA) continues with the Diversity and Inclusion Workshop Series 2020!

D&I Series, Session 2:
Exploring Unconscious Bias & Adopting a Self

In order to understand the intersection of Diversity & Inclusion with organizational culture, each of us needs to model self-awareness. Understanding and recognizing one's unconscious biases is critical to tackling the topic of Diversity & Inclusion in our organizations. Join us to explore unconscious bias, why it exists and ways to challenge it within yourself, so you can inspire others to do the same. What is a microaggression and how do unconscious bias and microaggressions work together? Are you ready to start planning for action in the area of Diversity & Inclusion? Start with awareness.

"Awareness leads to action, action leads to change." - Layla F. Saad
