In planning the event, we must guarantee attendance with the venue provider by a specific date. We become locked in for the expected number of attendees, which means we incur an attendance fee regarding your registration. 

  • To receive a refund, you must cancel by the Cancellation Deadline 7/11/19 - the THURSDAY before the program date. 
  • Neither credit nor refund will be extended after the deadline.
  • Additionally, neither credit nor refund will be extended to no-shows. 
  • You will still be invoiced and expected to pay if you register for the event and either cancel on the day-of or do not show.
  • We do allow substitutions at the correct rate for the substituting person (as either a member or nonmember).
  • We also allow walk-ins for those who cannot plan ahead.

About the Speaker

Michael McLernon has 15 years of experience helping organizations succeed through the development of a company's most important asset, its people. Most recently, his efforts have focused on implementing organization design, total reward and performance management systems designed to align employee efforts with the goals of the organization. He strives to accomplish as much as possible in a collaborative manner, while remaining focused on long term business goals and scalability.

His specialties include: reward programs (i.e., base, variable, commission and equity compensation); health and welfare benefits; performance management; leaves of absence; employee relations; HR administration and systems; payroll administration and systems; global HR programs.

 

Michael is currently the Director of Compensation at LinkedIn in Carpinteria.
