In planning the event, we must guarantee attendance with the venue provider by a specific date. We become locked in for the expected number of attendees, which means we incur an attendance fee regarding your registration. 

  • To receive a refund, you must cancel by the Cancellation Deadline 1/10/20 - the FRIDAY before the program date. 
  • Neither credit nor refund will be extended after the deadline.
  • Additionally, neither credit nor refund will be extended to no-shows. 
  • You will still be invoiced and expected to pay if you register for the event and either cancel on the day-of or do not show.
  • We do allow substitutions at the correct rate for the substituting person (as either a member or nonmember).
  • We also allow walk-ins for those who cannot plan ahead.

About the Speaker

Greg Berk is a partner in Sheppard Mullin’s Labor and Employment Practice Group.  He leads the firm’s Immigration Practice and is a Certified Specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.  He has over 20 years of experience advising on all aspects of U.S. immigration matters, including work visa, permanent residency, I-9 and other compliance matters. Greg assists employers with the hiring and retention of foreign national executives and highly talented individuals that are needed in their U.S. workforce. He is the author of Immigration Checklists and Practice Pointers – A Desk Reference for Attorneys and HR managers, and regularly speaks on immigration issues and developments.
