Dr. Marks is the author of “Charging Back Up the Hill: Workplace Recovery After Mergers, Acquisitions and Downsizings” , “Joining Forces: Making One Plus One Equal Three In Mergers Acquisitions and Alliances” and “Managing the Merger”.
Dr. Marks is a frequent speaker to business groups and professional organizations and has been involved in more than 100 cases of organizational transitions over the last 20 years. Dr. Marks’ work has been featured in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, U.S. News and World Report, Business Week, The New York Times, The Washington Post and Sports Illustrated.
Dr. Marks holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from the University of Michigan and has lectured at the Harvard Business School and Smithsonian Institution as well as numerous professional, business, and scholarly meetings. Dr. Welbourne, designer and implementer of Extreme Strategizing, has created a methodology employing four process levels that utilize real-time interactive dialogues to drive strategy, move processes out to clients, expand processes to stakeholders and create organizational change through innovation.
Dr. Welbourne is the founder and President of eePulse Inc., and is an Adjunct Professor of Executive Programs at the Ross School of Business. Dr. Welbourne holds a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado and her research has been featured in various publications, books and journals, to name a few, The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, Journal of Management, Human Resource Planning and The Compensation and Benefits Review. Dr. Welbourne is the Editor-in-Chief of Human Resource Management.
