The landscape is rapidly evolving on the issues of Harassment and Sexual Harassment in the workplace. Harassment doesn’t discriminate. It affects all of our employees: all genders, all ages, all races & religions, and recent headlines and social media movements have increased awareness and incited a call to action! How will you respond?

We are proud to invite you to a three-hour seminar on Thursday, February 1st, at the Marriott Courtyard in Goleta, from 8:30-11:30 am. Registration begins at 8 am, and breakfast will be served.

Join us for a jam-packed morning of learning from a variety of resources – an Attorney, Communication Consultant, and Worker’s Compensation & Insurance experts - and gain confidence around stepping up and into these issues when they occur in your workplace. The beginning of our program will feature a Panel of local experts who will discuss a variety of subjects, including the role of HR and the C-Suite in dealing head-on with these issues.  Following the panel we will hold roundtable discussions to share your own experiences, challenges, questions and best practices, and network with one of your most valuable resources, each other!

Industry Experts Include:
  • Jeff Dinkin: Stradling Attorneys at Law, chair of Stradling's Employment Law practice group, representing management in all aspects of labor and employment law
  • Jonathan Miller: Tobin Lucks LLP, Attorney with an expertise in Worker’s Compensation
  • Lois Phillips, PhD: Phillips Consulting Services, expert Communications Consultant and Coach
  • Josh Stichter, CIC: HUB International, Certified Insurance Counselor with a specialty in Executive Liability
Following this seminar, you will walk away with a stronger understanding of the new reality of the issue, tips & tools, and a network of people that you can reach out to for assistance in dealing with harassment should it happen within your organization.
